6 state tour

The Saturday after Christmas we packed up the ole mini van and headed for St. Louis. We travelled 6 states to get there, Virginia, West Virginia, Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois and Missouri It was a 16 hour drive so we stayed the night (both ways) in Lexington, Kentucky. We lucked out and stayed at a really nice hotel the was just 3 weeks old. The kids loved swimming, room service and the nice breakfast.




Our St. Louis trip did not disappoint. The kids LOVED seeing their cousins. All together there were 9 kids ages 10 and under. Boy was it FUN! Some highlights were, The St. Louis Arch, The Cahokia Mounds (google it, very cool place), New Years Eve entertainment (thanks to Aunt Cammy), cousins playing non stop and virtually conflict free and of course spending time with family.
